Class sign-up, Cancellation of a Class/Workshop, Re-Scheduling, Waitlist Policy and Voucher/Discount Coupon.
Reserve your space: In order to reduce the check-in time at the reception and ensure your spot in the class we encourage you to sign up in advance through our online reservation system. On the spot registration is available at the door depending on the availability of space.
** Please note: Walk in members are accomodated on a first come first served basis and are requested to wait until members with prior reservation have signed in.
Cancelling a class reservation: Clients may cancel their reservation upto 2 hours prior to class start time. Any cancelation made less than 2 hours before the class start time will be considered as a late cancelation. In the case of late cancelation, the class will be deducted from the package.
ATTN Members : If you are unable to attend, please be sure to cancel your reservation at least two hours prior to class time. Your proactive cancellation, however, will be of great help to your fellow yogis on the wait-list and your instructor.
Cancelling a workshop reservation: Please contact Meridian Yoga by phone or preferably by email firstname.lastname@example.org atleast 72 hours prior to the workshop start date for cancelling your reservation. If Meridian Yoga cancels a workshop, you will receive a full refund.
Reschedule a reservation: Clients can reschedule their reservation using their accounts on our online reservation system upto 2 hours prior to the class start time.
Waitlist policy: If a class is full when you sign up online, you can choose to be on waitlist. If you are added to the class from the waitlist, you will be notified via email no later than 2 hours prior to the class start time.
Voucher / Discount Coupon: Please apply your voucher number / discount code as the 'promotion code' while making your purchase. Please bring a hard/soft copy of the coupon during your first visit to the studio.
Please note: All class passes are non-refundable, non-extendable and non-transferable.
What are some of the fundamental yoga related matters that I should be aware of ?
Injury/health concern: If you have injuries or health concerns, please be sure to check with your health care specialist before beginning your yoga practice. If you have any concerns please speak to your instructor before the class begins. If you wish to contact the instructor prior to sign-up please email email@example.com and we will be happy to put you in touch with the instructor.
New to Yoga & choosing the right class: We recommend that you take a few beginner level classes, followed by advanced beginner level classes and then All Level classes.
Dress code: Please wear clothes that allow free movement. Also, because yoga involves deep breathing, please avoid wearing strong perfumes in the yoga studio.
Food: Practice of Yoga is not advised in a full stomach - you may be uncomfortable during class if you have just eaten. Please avoid eating two hours prior to your class.
Illness: We recommend that you reschedule if you feel unwell, both for your own health and to prevent the spread of infection.
What are some of the fundamental studio related matters that I should be aware of ?
Footwear: Yoga is typically practiced barefoot. Please take your shoes off & leave them in the shoe rack provided before entering the Yoga class.
Timing: If you are a drop in client, please come to the studio no less than 10 minutes before class time (15 minutes for first timers).
Running late: We recommend that you arrive early for class to settle in. However, if you are late, please wait until the initial centering is complete and the teacher opens the door to invite you into the studio. If you are more than 10 minutes late and the instructor has commenced class, the instructor has probably opened the door and it is fine to go in. Please check with the reception if you are unsure.
Cell Phone use: Please turn off, or silence, cell phones, pagers & anything that may disrupt the class. If you are a doctor on-call, please inform the instructor and place your equipment on vibrate.
Water: We recommend that you bring a water bottle - we offer free water refills.
Mat: Meridian Yoga provides free yoga mats to all practitioners and mats will be placed at fixed spots in the studio. We recommend that you bring your own mat, which you can place over the assigned studio mat. After use, please donot move yoga mats and sanitize after use.
Shower: Studio clients can also avail of on-site shower facilities for free.
Lockers: During the class please feel free to store your belongings in lockers. Meridian Yoga Studio is not responsible for any un-attended personal belongings.
Class neatness etiquette: Please be sure to keep the studio neat and tidy. Please place blankets and straps in the cupboards after use. Please return rental mats to the reception, and place used towels in the bin outside the studio.
